The central field has a terracotta-colored background. Its composition consists mainly of medallions placed one above the other. Blue octagonal medallions are weaved between the central medallions, three on one side and three on the other. Central medallions contain red octagonal figures decorated with geometric sixteen petal flower. The rug is bordered with four stripes; the central stripe is wide with geometric ornament. It is bordered by two narrow stripes with floral ornament. The fourth stripe represents a ‘meander’ — a zigzag line.
