Framed in an oval at center, an angel, holding a book and draping an arm over a cross at left, tramples a skeleton. The oval is surrounded by symmetrical ornamental design with putti masks hanging from canopies and grotesques. At left and right edge, segmented ovals with the artist’s signature. Associated with the series, Grotisch fur alle Kunstler, consisting of four plates.
