Description
-
Design for a frieze filled with a meandering acanthus scroll and various figures. On the right side of the frieze a hybrid satyr whose lower body morphs into acanthus leaves is depicted holding up a club and a tortus shell as shield. He looks over his shoulder to the left where a panther-like creature, three playful putti and a snake have been depicted.
