Of white lawn; with rectangular shoulder-pieces; long, with wide sleeves gathered in at the wrist; worked with white linen thread in chain stitch; the sleeve is edged with a flounce of white bobbin lace

Bell-shaped, gored, suspended on shoulder-straps; fastened in the open front with silver buttons inset with pieces of rock-crystal; of pink
figured silk (Russian, factory-made, second half of the 18th century); the front is edged with scalloped gold galloon
