The major figure is that of a large eagle with one raised wing; it is accompanied by smaller birds and four-petalled rosettes. The infillings are of a geometrical character. The upper frieze shows plant forms, the outer border is filled with a repeat design of anthropomorphic figures and birds within formalized foliate scrolls.
