The broad upper band shows a pattern of female figures with diamond-shaped heads and lowered arms alternativing with female riders facing left. The seamed panels of the middle insertion display two oppesed rows of double-tailed birds. Arranged in the outer border is a repeat geometrical pattern of double saltire crosses separated by minor diamond-forms.
