Description
-
This tin-glazed charger features a man wearing a wig and what appears to be an elaborate hat or crown, surrounded by an abstract border of alternating thick and thin lines in cobalt blue. It was probably made in the late seventeenth century in Talavera or Puente del Arzobispo, two centers of pottery production in the Castile region of Spain.
