Description
-
The repeat pattern is built up of a female figure with foliate branches in upraised arms flanked by horse-and-rider motifs. The female riders’ arms are raised, the hands are exaggerated. The three-part compositions are separated by female figures with similar arms and hands, their skirts are decorated with solar rosettes. The repeat all-over design of the outer border is of a geometrical character.
